The String Floor Lamp by Rotaliana realises modern design in a highly functional form ideal for task lighting and indirect illumination. The adjustable head, made of moulded plastic, is easy to handle thanks to its ring shape. Two adjustable arms in extruded aluminium are balanced by an elastic cable, sheathed in synthetic-coloured fabric, and by an aluminium and cast-iron ballast base. A touch-sensitive tuneable-white switch within the lamp's head adjusts the LED light's luminosity and colour temperature (2500K to 4000K). Available in various contemporary finishes with three cable colour options. Made in Italy.

Dante Donegani and Giovanni Lauda
Dante Donegani was born in Pinzolo (Italy) in 1957. He gained a degree in architecture in Florence in 1983. Since 1991 he has been the director of the master’s program in design at the Domus Academy in Milan. Giovanni Lauda was born in 1956 in Naples, where he gained a degree in architecture and was a member of the Morozzi & Partners studio from 1988 to 1991.In 1992 The pair opened the D&L Studio together. The D&L Studio have designed layouts for art exhibitions, corporate identity projects, and products for a number of companies that include Memphis, Stildomus, Isuz, Steel and Luceplan, Le Cose Nostre, Edra, Radice and Viceversa.
