Born from the ingenuity of Axolight and the creativity of designer Mario Alessiani, Float is a multi-functional and portable light suitable for use indoors and out. Float is inspired by children's floats and reinterprets that shape in various lamp options with it's innovative "free-floating" lamp head. Usable as a floor lamp with the supplied 120cm stainless steel pedestal base, Float can also be used as a pendant or wall light with support cables. The aluminium lamp head can also be freely placed on a bottle thanks to a central hole closed in the upper end. Float is powered by an inbuilt lithium-ion battery which provides up to 9 hours of illumination and is rechargeable via USB. The lamp can be recharged without the use of bases or support cables, allowing simultaneous charging of multiple lamps in confined spaces. Equipped with a soft-touch system for smooth operation of a 5 stage dimmer and rated IP 55 for outdoor applications, Float provides cutting edge versatility perfect for the modern home or hospitality.
