String W1 Wall Lamp

The String W1 Wall light is part of the String collection by Rotaliana. The adjustable head made with moulded plastic is easily handled and offers flexibility in positioning the direction of the light beam. The structure of the two arms is made of extruded aluminum. The movement is balanced by the elastic cable, sheathed in synthetic coloured fabric. The String also features a push sensitive dimmer that controls the light source. String W1 is available in white, black, bronze, champagne, graphite or silver finish. Each light includes silver, black and orange cables which are easily interchangeable for different looks.

Dante Donegani and Giovanni Lauda
Dante Donegani was born in Pinzolo (Italy) in 1957. He gained a degree in architecture in Florence in 1983. Since 1991 he has been the director of the master’s program in design at the Domus Academy in Milan. Giovanni Lauda was born in 1956 in Naples, where he gained a degree in architecture and was a member of the Morozzi & Partners studio from 1988 to 1991.In 1992 The pair opened the D&L Studio together. The D&L Studio have designed layouts for art exhibitions, corporate identity projects, and products for a number of companies that include Memphis, Stildomus, Isuz, Steel and Luceplan, Le Cose Nostre, Edra, Radice and Viceversa.
