Sola Pendant

Based on the same geometry as Coral and Floral with more connection points, the Sola Pendant from David Trubridge creates an intensely intricate pattern. Designed as part of the Icarus installation shown in Milan Based on the Greek myth. Sola represents the Sun which will get too hot if you fly too high. The full installation (including Wing lights) was later purchased by the Pompidou Centre in Paris for its permanent collection. Available three sizes and a wide range of finishes to suit a variety of applications.

New Zealand based David Trubridge is one of the world’s preeminent designers and a recognised leader in environmentally responsible design. Countless influential international publications have featured Trubridge’s iconic work, which ultimately launched the 'raw sophistication' design trend. In 2008, the French magazine Express listed him as one of the top 15 designers in the world.
