Lady Louis Pendant
by Cangini & Tucci
Lady Louis is a 3-dimensional trumpet shaped suspension lamp available in a variety of finishes. A spherical opal glass lamp floats from the mouth of the trumpet-like piece, softly diffusing light. Valaida Snow was one of the great trumpet players and singers of the thirties. Born on June 2, 1905 in the city of Chattanooga, Tennessee, she became known as "Queen of the Trumpet", "The Female Louis Armstrong", "Little Louis" and "Lady Louis". An exceptional player and performer, Snow is remembered as a Jazz pioneer. This lamp is a tribute to Valaida's work and career. Designed by Alberto Manzoni for masters of glass Cangini & Tucci.
